BitGo Secures Virtual Asset Service Provider License to Offer Custody Services in Dubai

  • BitGo has obtained a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license from Dubai’s VARA.
  • BitGo Custody – MENA will now provide digital asset custody and storage services in the emirate.
  • The announcement follows the company’s initial approval in January 2025

BitGo, a company specializing in digital asset infrastructure, has announced that its Dubai-based entity, BitGo Custody – MENA, has received a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license from the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA).

With this license, BitGo Custody – MENA is now authorized to officially provide custody and storage services for virtual assets in the emirate.

The announcement follows the initial approval the company received from VARA in January 2025.
