Saudi healthtech company Nuxera AI, specializing in medical artificial intelligence, has announced a $2.5 million strategic pre-seed funding round led by Sanabil Venture Studio, a subsidiary of Redesign Health. The investment aims to accelerate the development of Arabic AI solutions that can transform clinical workflows in Saudi hospitals.
Founded by Amin Elhemaily (CEO), Asad Khan (CTO), and Nada Hassan (CBO), Nuxera AI’s mission is to shape the future of Arab healthcare through real, data-driven AI innovation.
The company is building a fully Arabic AI platform tailored for both public and private hospitals, designed to boost operational efficiency and convert medical data into intelligent tools that help clinicians and administrators make more accurate clinical decisions.
Its flagship innovation, SERA, is an intelligent system that transcribes doctor–patient conversations into encrypted medical notes, compliant with international standards such as SNOMED, ACHI, SBS, and ICD-10, and supports over 28 Arabic dialects. The system reduces medical documentation time by more than 70%, allowing healthcare professionals to spend more time focusing on patient care.
Additionally, the company has developed an interactive engine called “Talk to Your Data”, enabling hospital leaders and administrators to ask questions in Arabic and receive instant, data-driven insights related to clinical, operational, and financial performance — enhancing transparency and speeding up decision-making.
With this new investment, Nuxera AI aims to solidify its position as a leader in Arabic health AI, supporting Saudi Arabia’s digital health transformation goals in line with Vision 2030.
