Several Lebanese entrepreneurs, including Kevin O’Leary (of Lebanese descent) and founders like Donna & Rosy Khalife, have previously succeeded on the global stage, highlighting the strong potential of Lebanese talent.
For the first time ever, the global phenomenon Shark Tank is coming to Lebanon, giving local entrepreneurs a rare opportunity to pitch their business ideas on national TV and possibly secure the investment that could change everything.
The show, which has helped launch over 1,000 businesses globally, is now being produced by LBCI in partnership with Different Productions, and casting is officially open. Lebanese founders, inventors, creatives, and hustlers are invited to step into the iconic Shark Tank spotlight and present their ideas to a panel of real investors.
While the names of the Lebanese “Sharks” have yet to be revealed, they will include a lineup of established businesspeople and investors from Lebanon.
Shark Tank is no stranger to Lebanese talent. Investor Kevin O’Leary, one of the show’s most recognized faces in the U.S., has repeatedly referenced his Lebanese heritage on-air, crediting it as a core part of his entrepreneurial spirit.
Lebanese founders have already made waves on the U.S. edition of the show. Sisters Donna and Rosy Khalife landed a deal with O’Leary for their kids’ subscription box company, Surprise Ride, which was later acquired. Entrepreneurs Tony Lahood, William Moujaes, and Michael Khoury also secured a deal for their product from both O’Leary and Robert Herjavec.
