As part of the Biban 2025 Forum organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority “Monsha’at,” from November 5–8 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center, more than 900 startups from 70 countries will participate in the Startup Gate.
The Biban 2025 Forum will be held under the theme “A Global Destination for Opportunities.”
Objectives of the Startup Gate
The Startup Gate aims to showcase local and international entrepreneurial models, highlight promising projects, and connect them to the Kingdom’s entrepreneurship ecosystem through an integrated environment that enables startups to directly engage with investors, enhancing opportunities for expansion and growth both locally and globally.
The participation will include 840 startups, 32 local business incubators, and 32 international incubators and accelerators representing leading entrepreneurial entities in the region and the world.
They span diverse sectors such as information and communications technology, education, environment, arts, and entertainment.
The Startup Gate will also provide startups the opportunity to showcase their projects and products through a pitching platform before a distinguished group of investors, in addition to participating in the Entrepreneurship World Cup.
Opportunities for Exhibitors
The Startup Gate offers exhibitors the chance to speak on the “Biban Talks” stage to share their experiences and build open dialogues with forum visitors from various sectors and fields of interest.
Moreover, the participation of more than 70 enablers of entrepreneurship, including incubators, accelerators, and supporting companies, will provide a comprehensive package of services and solutions, helping create an integrated entrepreneurial ecosystem under one roof.
Among the forum’s key initiatives is the “Startup Gateway – Expansion to Saudi Arabia,” a dedicated platform designed to support international startups seeking to expand into the Saudi market.
The gateway provides valuable information and practical resources to prepare entrepreneurs for entry into the Kingdom, with the participation of representatives from both the public and private sectors to facilitate the entry process for international startups.
The platform guides companies with clear, well-structured steps toward expansion and increased growth opportunities in the local and regional markets.
Biban 2025 will welcome its visitors through seven innovative gates aimed at addressing the needs of entrepreneurs and enabling SMEs to achieve growth and sustainability.
The Startup Gate will play a crucial role in strengthening connections between startups, entrepreneurs, and investors, thereby enhancing the Kingdom’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and contributing to the realization of Saudi Vision 2030.
