The Sustainability Forum 2025 was held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, in Riyadh, with the participation of an elite group of leaders, experts, and specialists in governance, sustainability, and social responsibility. The event was organized by the Corporate Sustainability Association.
The forum was held in support of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, aiming to enhance collaboration across sectors and adopt best practices in corporate governance and sustainable development, thereby contributing to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) both nationally and globally.
The event served as a platform for knowledge exchange among leaders, entrepreneurs, researchers, and sustainability practitioners. It highlighted pioneering national initiatives and showcased programs that embody social responsibility and foster a culture of sustainability across organizations and the business sector.
The forum’s agenda featured panel discussions and interactive workshops covering topics such as governance, risk management, and corporate sustainability, with speakers from local and international organizations. It also provided networking opportunities to strengthen partnerships between representatives from the public and private sectors, as well as academic institutions.
The Association presented its key initiatives, including the Sustainability Council—launched in 2021—which has hosted over 50 speakers and conducted 40 sessions on sustainability, governance, and carbon neutrality. Other highlights included the “Sustainability Shelves” newsletter with over 40 issues, a comprehensive training program launched in 2024 in partnership with the Saudi Investment Recycling Company (SIRC) and the Industrial Development Fund Academy, as well as the “Sustainability Dialogues” that brought together leaders from prominent national entities. The Association also reported over 600 volunteer hours in its programs and initiatives, underscoring its commitment to promoting community engagement and a culture of giving in sustainability.
The forum was strategically sponsored by ACWA Power, in recognition of its leading role in promoting sustainability and renewable energy, and its contribution to advancing sustainable transformation both locally and globally.
The event saw strong participation from representatives of government entities, national companies, and entrepreneurs, reinforcing collective efforts toward sustainability in the Kingdom.
The forum concluded with participants emphasizing the importance of strengthening partnerships in governance and sustainability to align with Saudi Arabia’s vision for a more sustainable future.
