Summit Aims to Strengthen Saudi Arabia’s Global Presence and Support Entrepreneurs
An official delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is set to participate in the G20 Startup Summit (Startup20), which will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa, for two days starting tomorrow, Thursday, and continuing until Friday.
The delegation will be led by Prince Fahad bin Mansour bin Nasser Al Saud, Chairman of the G20 Startup Group, with the participation sponsored by NEOM.
Saudi Arabia’s participation aims to highlight its national efforts in building an innovation- and technology-driven economy, in line with Vision 2030, which focuses on supporting innovation and diversifying the Kingdom’s economic resources.
The Kingdom is also committed to empowering entrepreneurs, supporting innovation, and strengthening its global presence in international entrepreneurship forums within the G20 framework, which brings together economic leaders, decision-makers, and entrepreneurs from around the world.
The Saudi delegation includes representatives from government entities, the private and non-profit sectors, as well as entrepreneurs and investors.
Their participation seeks to showcase Saudi Arabia’s pioneering experience in developing its entrepreneurial ecosystem and to explore opportunities for collaboration with international partners to expand global startup investments.
