Sami Almoeehi, Founder and CEO of Wazen, spoke with entArabi at 24Fintech about the company’s role in driving digital transformation in the business sector and achieving Saudi Vision 2030 through its financial technology solutions.
Almoeehi explained that Wazen was founded in 2020, with its first product being the Wazen ERP system, launched in December 2021. This system aims to meet the needs of businesses by integrating accounting and business management technologies into a single platform. In a short period, the company has managed to address the needs of many business sectors.

The Wazen team identified a problem with the incompatibility between payment devices and traditional accounting programs, which led the company to develop Wazen Pay. This service consolidates all different payment methods into one comprehensive solution, simplifying financial processes and improving integration between payment and accounting systems.
Wazen enjoys several strategic partnerships that enhance its role in developing the financial sector. The company has received approval from the Zakat and Customs Authority for the use of the e-invoicing system, as well as integration with the Food and Drug Authority through the Rased system. Additionally, the company integrates with Ministry of Commerce services via commercial register and financial statements.
Almoeehi also emphasized that Wazen aims to make the financial ecosystem in the Kingdom integrated and comprehensive, offering innovative solutions that enhance business efficiency and support the digital transformation envisioned by Vision 2030.
