Thmanyah Secures Exclusive Broadcasting Rights for Saudi Football Competitions Until 2031

  • Thmanyah wins exclusive TV and digital broadcasting rights for Saudi football from 2025–2031
  • Matches to be available free via satellite TV and through paid digital packages with premium features.
  • Agreement supports a long-term media ecosystem, enhancing professionalism, fan engagement, and club revenues.

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), along with the Saudi Pro League and First Division League, has officially awarded the exclusive broadcasting rights for major domestic competitions to Thmanyah, a publishing and distribution company owned by the Saudi Research and Media Group.

The agreement, which spans from the 2025-2026 season to 2030-2031, covers the King’s Cup, the Saudi Pro League (Roshn League), the Saudi Super Cup, and the Yelo First Division League, across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Thmanyah was selected following a competitive bidding process that included top local and international media and broadcasting companies. The evaluation criteria focused on technical infrastructure, content quality, distribution capabilities, and the strategic alignment of operational vision with the goal of enhancing the media presence of Saudi competitions.

Under the new deal, matches will be broadcast via two channels: free-to-air through new satellite TV channels, and subscription-based digital packages offering additional features. This dual approach is designed to maximize accessibility and support the commercialization of Saudi football.
