Wittify.ai, the AI-native startup transforming how businesses engage with their customers, announced today the successful close of a $1.5 million pre-seed funding round led by prominent angel investors and business figures in Saudi Arabia.

The Importance of Funding

The funding will accelerate product development, regional expansion, and deep investment in Arabic speech technologies.

Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with offices in Dubai and Cairo, Wittify is reimagining customer interaction through AI agents that speak, listen, act, and integrate into real business workflows.

The company has officially launched its platform in beta, enabling businesses to build voice, text, or hybrid (voice + text) agents tailored to the Arabic-speaking world.

Dr. Sarah Alhumoud is one of the Arab world’s foremost experts in Arabic AI, with over 20 years in computer science and a decade focused exclusively on Arabic NLP.

She is the former Head of AI at King Salman’s Complex for Arabic Language, an Associate Professor at Al Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud University, a PhD graduate from the University of Glasgow, a former MIT postdoctoral researcher, and a 2030 MISK Leader.
