Egypt Pass Launches Entrepreneurship Program for Digital Tourism

Egypt Pass has launched a free program titled “Entrepreneurship and Digital Tourism”, in partnership with Creativa Centers for Digital Innovation and October 6 University.

The program’s opening activities were hosted at the historic Sultan Hassan Palace in Cairo.

Program Details

The initiative is supported by several Egyptian government entities, including the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology through its Creativa centers, the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, and October 6 University.

The program is designed to train university students in Egypt on achieving sustainability in digital tourism, while also supporting startups in developing innovative and sustainable solutions for the tourism sector.

Program Objectives

With the participation of around 100 students from October 6 University, the program aims to:

  • Empower youth and entrepreneurs with tools in artificial intelligence and modern technologies.

  • Build local capacities capable of leading the transformation towards smart tourism.

  • Support startups in digital tourism to become globally competitive players.

  • Contribute to Egypt’s Vision 2030, which targets attracting 30 million tourists annually.

Mohamed Zakaria Rabie, CEO of Egypt Pass, stated:
