Morocco’s Done App Secures $2.1 Million in Seed Funding to Build First National Super App

  • Morocco’s Done App Secures $2.1 Million in Seed Funding to Expand into 10+ Moroccan Cities
  • Funding from Moroccan and Angel Investors Aims to Enhance the Company’s Logistics Infrastructure and Product Development

Morocco-based Done has raised $2.1 million in a Seed funding round, backed by local investors and several angel investors.

The fresh capital will support the company’s expansion across Morocco and accelerate its ambition to build the country’s first super app.

Why It Matters

The funding highlights growing investor confidence in the potential of Moroccan digital platforms to compete regionally, at a time when the tech sector across the Middle East and Africa is experiencing strong momentum.

With this investment, Done plans to expand into more than 10 major Moroccan cities, enhance its product offerings, and strengthen its logistics infrastructure.

The company also aims to create new job opportunities and extend access to digital services in underserved areas, contributing to greater financial and digital inclusion across the kingdom.

About Done

Founded in 2024, Done operates in the food delivery and e-commerce sectors across eight regions in Morocco.

The company employs a team of more than 90 staff members and has built a network of over 1,000 partners in restaurants and retail, supported by more than 500 active couriers—positioning it to meet the growing demands of its users.

Toward Morocco’s First Super App

Inspired by successful Asian models such as Grab, Done is working to develop Morocco’s first super app. Its current offerings include food delivery, e-commerce, mobile payments, and buy now, pay later (BNPL) solutions.

The company also operates digital stores under the “Done Stores” brand.

This strategy is part of a wider regional trend, with market estimates suggesting that the super app sector in the Middle East and Africa could surpass $30 billion by 2030.
