Saudi-based startup Builtop, which specializes in procurement solutions for the construction sector, has raised $11 million in a Seed funding round that combines venture capital and debt financing, led by TAM Capital and a group of strategic investors.
The company plans to use the funds to expand its digital procurement platform across the Kingdom, strengthen its capabilities in trade financing through partnerships with financial institutions, and accelerate product development to keep pace with the rapid growth of Saudi Vision 2030 projects.
Saudi Arabia has witnessed a massive boom in real estate and infrastructure projects valued at nearly $1 trillion since the launch of Vision 2030 in 2016. This surge has created a strong demand for faster, more transparent, and smarter construction solutions.
Traditional procurement processes still suffer from fragmentation, manual workflows, and limited access to operating capital, which Builtop aims to solve by digitizing supply chain operations and integrating financing solutions within its platform—helping contractors speed up the execution of housing and mega projects without long liquidity delays.
