Moroccan e-commerce company ORA Technologies has successfully closed a $7.5 million Series A funding round, fully financed by a group of local investors led by the Azur Innovation Fund.

Following this funding round, the company plans to expand its delivery network, enhance logistics efficiency, and accelerate the adoption of its digital payment solutions.

ORA also aims to become the leading mobile payment service provider in Morocco by offering practical solutions aligned with users’ real-world needs.

Omar El Alami, Founder and CEO of ORA Technologies, stated:

ORA Technologies was established to develop last-mile digital infrastructure, and has successfully attracted users through two core services:

  • Kooul: A food delivery app that is rapidly expanding across several Moroccan cities.

  • ORA Cash: A digital wallet used for online payments and fundraising, aimed at boosting e-commerce across the country.
