Darwinz AI, a Saudi-Egyptian startup, has raised $325,000 in its first funding round, led by Flat6Labs KSA and Glint Ventures.
Founded in Egypt in 2021 by Emad Elazhary and Mohy Aboualam, Darwinz AI offers an AI-powered product called Dima, which helps marketing and PR teams track brand sentiment, detect potential crises, and analyze media coverage in real time. The platform was launched in late 2024 and is currently used by over 300 professionals across six MENA countries, in sectors such as telecommunications, F&B, banking, real estate, automotive, aviation, and the public sector.
The funding will be used to support the company’s expansion plans, starting with strengthening its presence in the Gulf region through its office at The Garage in Riyadh. The company is also working on product development in preparation for global expansion in 2026.
Part of the funds will go toward improving the Dima platform based on customer feedback. Mohy Aboualam stated that the company does not plan to launch new products at this stage but will focus on enhancing Dima to meet its targeted use cases.
