Nova Secures $3.6M to Scale Globally Backed by CDP Venture Capital

  • Nova raised €3.2M (~$3.6M) led by CDP Venture Capital, with participation from Doha Tech Angels and other regional investors.
  • The funding will support platform development, European expansion, and the launch of Nova Recruiter.
  • Positioned as a premium alternative to LinkedIn, Nova targets elite professionals through a merit-based model.

Nova, a global platform connecting top-tier talent with premium job opportunities, has announced it has raised €3.2 million (approx. $3.6 million) in a new funding round. The round was led by CDP Venture Capital, with participation from Doha Tech Angels and other angel investors from the Middle East and Europe.

The funding will be used to expand Nova’s presence across key European capitals like Rome, Berlin, and Paris, further enhance its algorithmic talent-matching capabilities, and launch Nova Recruiter—a B2B SaaS platform set to compete with LinkedIn by offering smarter, curated recruitment for high-end employers.

Founded in 2020 by Andrea Marino (Italy), Ramon Rodriganez (Spain), and Lars Henrik Friis Molin (Sweden), Nova operates with a merit-based invitation model, currently serving over 25,000 professionals across 80+ countries in sectors such as consulting, venture capital, and tech.

“We see the Middle East as a unique opportunity where the demand for elite talent is outpacing supply,” said Marino. “This investment validates our model and accelerates our mission to become a lifelong MBA for top professionals—minus the tuition fees.”
