Thmanyah, the official broadcaster of Saudi football tournaments until 2031 and part of the Saudi Research and Media Group (SRMG), has officially launched its new digital platform and satellite TV channel.
This marks a major step in redefining how content is experienced across the Arab world.
Free Benefits
The launch includes exclusive broadcasts of top-tier Saudi sports tournaments, alongside a slate of cultural and entertainment programming.
As part of this launch, Thmanyah will offer free, high-quality streaming of all matches in the Saudi Super Cup, Roshn League, King’s Cup, and Yelo League throughout the current season, available exclusively on the Thmanyah App and its satellite channels via Arabsat and Nilesat, as well as through the JACO app, ensuring wide accessibility across Saudi Arabia and the broader Arab region.
Thmanyah App
The app will be available for download starting August 13, across iOS, Android, AppleTV, AndroidTV, as well as Samsung and LG television sets.
The official launch of the satellite channel is scheduled for August 28, coinciding with the kickoff of the Saudi Roshn League. The Saudi Super Cup will air from August 19 to August 23 during the channel’s trial phase.
Thmanyah also introduced subscription packages starting at SAR 58 per month, offering an enhanced viewing experience that includes 50fps ultra-smooth video, in-depth analysis studios, access to Thmanyah’s exclusive content library, real-time match stats, and more, all available on the new Thmanyah App and Thmanyah Radio.
Pre-match Analysis
The channel’s on-air talent includes some of the region’s most respected sports broadcasters and analysts, such as Nawaf Al-Temyat and Obaidallah Al-Eisi from Saudi Arabia, Tarek Dhiab from Tunisia, and Hamed Al-Harthy from the UAE. Renowned commentators and reporters like Fares Aouad, Fahad Al-Otaibi, and Khaled Al-Arafa also join the team.
Beyond live coverage of Saudi tournaments, Thmanyah is building a comprehensive sports library, including archived footage of historic matches, original sports documentaries, and over eight new sports-focused programs.
These offerings join Thmanyah’s broader catalog, which spans over 30 genres, including comedy through “Exit 8” and lifestyle through “Thmanyah Living.”
Dedicated social media channels were launched to provide sports fans with live and interactive content on sporting matches and events.
