His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Public Investment Fund (PIF) – may God protect him – has announced the launch of Humain, a company fully owned by PIF. The company aims to develop and manage artificial intelligence (AI) solutions and technologies, and to invest in the infrastructure and ecosystem of this vital sector.
Positioning Saudi Arabia at the Forefront of the Digital Economy
Chaired by the Crown Prince himself, Humain will deliver cutting-edge AI models, including the development of one of the most advanced Arabic-language large language models (LLM). The company will also establish next-generation data centers and advanced cloud computing infrastructure.
Humain will play a key role in strengthening Saudi Arabia’s capabilities in AI—locally, regionally, and globally—while unlocking new opportunities in the digital economy. It will offer integrated smart solutions to vital sectors such as energy, healthcare, industry, and financial services.
Investing in Infrastructure and National Talent
Through Humain and other portfolio companies, PIF is building a robust AI ecosystem by investing in infrastructure and forming international partnerships. This is supported by Saudi Arabia’s strategic geographic position enabling rapid data flow and its booming economy and youth-driven interest in modern technologies.
These initiatives aim to foster research and innovation, develop Saudi talent, support local intellectual property, and attract top global expertise.
