DiDi Egypt, the smart mobility app, has announced a strategic collaboration with Master Gas, a leading company in the compressed natural gas (CNG) distribution sector, to enable DiDi drivers to convert their vehicles to run on CNG.
The agreement includes financial benefits and loyalty programs designed to motivate DiDi Egypt drivers to embrace CNG technology, contributing to the sustainability goals of the country’s evolving transport sector.
As part of the collaboration, DiDi Egypt drivers will have access to discounted CNG conversion services, exclusively available through Master Gas conversion centers.
Additionally, the initiative offers flexible payment options, including affordable installment plans, making the transition to CNG more accessible.
On average, drivers can expect a 20% cost saving by using CNG instead of traditional fuels.
The partnership also features an innovative loyalty program, rewarding drivers with additional benefits when refueling, supporting them in their daily operations.
Li Da Xu, General Manager of DiDi in Egypt, Australia, and New Zealand, stated that the agreement strengthens the company’s sustainability strategy, allowing drivers to access CNG technology at affordable prices while significantly reducing their operational costs.
