Standard Chartered and Falak Investment Hub Launch the Third Cohort of the “Women in Tech” Program in Saudi Arabia

Empowering the Next Generation of Female Tech Entrepreneurs: Applications Now Open to Support Women-Led Startups in the Kingdom

Standard Chartered has announced the launch of the third edition of its Women in Tech program in Saudi Arabia, in partnership with Falak Investment Hub. Applications are now open for women-led or women-founded startups developing innovative digital solutions that contribute to the growth of key economic sectors.

The initiative is part of Standard Chartered’s global “Futuremakers” program, which aims to promote economic inclusion for youth and women through education, entrepreneurship, and employment.

2025 Theme: Innovate. Lead. Inspire.

This year’s edition carries the theme: “Innovate. Lead. Inspire.”, celebrating the growing role of Saudi women entrepreneurs in shaping the future of the technology sector and empowering them to inspire the next generation of innovators and leaders.

The program is executed locally by Falak Investment Hub, a key player in the Saudi startup ecosystem, and is globally backed by Standard Chartered.

Real Success Stories from Past Editions

Among the program’s most successful alumni is Shefaa, which raised $5.25 million in funding to scale its operations within the Kingdom. Other standout graduates include:

  • AfsaH, winner of first place in the program’s second edition

  • Ava and Tarkeez, which continue to expand in fintech and productivity tech

These examples demonstrate the tangible impact the program has made in empowering women entrepreneurs to build globally competitive businesses.

What the 2025 Program Offers

This year’s program includes an intensive 8-week journey, covering:

  • Advanced training workshops

  • One-on-one mentorship and practical advisory

  • Investor networking opportunities

At the end of the program, the top three startups will receive a combined equity-free grant of $45,000 USD.

Application Details

Applications are open until June 27, 2025, and the program is set to kick off in early July.
